Has anyone else heard of them? They're made up of Slash, Duff McKagan and the drummer (cant remember his name) of Guns N Roses and the singer from Stone Temple Pilot. I managed to catch 1 song on the radio1 rock show the other day and they sound pretty good. Anyone know anything else? I can't find much on the net.

They're trying to release their debut album in June.

Oh, and the ex-singer of Stone Temple Idiots is a drug freak which took him into loads of problems in the last time.

Yeah he thats why STP split up I think. He got put in jail for a while. Shame cos they're a good band. I thought Velvet Revolver sounded a bit like Alice In Chains. Scott Weiland always kinda sounded like Layne Stayley i spose. Quite good tho.

I just heard the Velvet Revolver single and I totally thought it was Alice in Chains for a minute. It was a total ripoff of Rooster. I never though Scott Weiland sounded like Layne before. I Alice in Chains. Although the first time I heard STP, I thought it was Pearl Jam. That was waaaay back in 1992 or something.

I'm not an STP fan, but I am entertained by Velvet Revolver at the moment. That could change. At least Slash, Duff and Matt have gotten their sh*t together and put out some music, unlike some other former GnR people I can think of. I remember when Axl was cool.
