Man, it's been so long. I haven't kept up with him at all. Heard about
him right when he came out with his cd. The only song I remember is Falling. lol. I thought he was pretty good until I lost track of him.[img]smileys/smiley17.gif[/img] |

I have "sha sha" somewhere but can't honestly say i listen to it that much bought it because of the track included in the mr deeds soundtrack whatever that is. Don't remember the album very well, i guess i'll dig it out and put it on now [img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img]

I saw him open for hte kings of leon and was not impressed. but he did look pretty hammered at the time.Edited by: #Ian#

i'm really only familiar with him because of his involvement in "the bens" - with ben folds and some other ben... i think in one of his songs he wrote that butterflies are passive agressive... i thought that line was kind of ridiculous. pianos are good, though...

as far as the butterfly part, i think a lot of his lyrics are very symbolic, thats one of the reasons i like him... [img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img]

i agree on "just pretend." but i hate that the bens temporarily delayed work on their individual albums. and i guess on some level i know that the butterflies line is symbolic, but ijust amfar too amused at the idea of these butterflies flying around seeminglypassively but with a deep seated resentment, plottingmanipulative and guilt inducing schemes. and i hatebutterflies. they have sticky feet, just like grasshoppers. i downloaded your recommendations, kristi, quitegood!
