Thanks for those! I still like Seven Nation Army best of any of the covers she does, but Come Together wasn't bad.

All these damned string instruments. I've been trying to teach myself guitar (Have some accoustic thing..Toredo or seomthing. Cheap, apparently..was me da's.) and I keep thinking "WTF, where's the keys *sobs*" Us creepy band geeks. =D G'luck with the cello playing!

i've played the violin since i was 5 and the guitar is WAy harder[img]smileys/smiley19.gif[/img] so i took up the bass aswell.......

Maybe I'm missing out here big time, but I turned on the radio last night at 12 and Mark McCabe was on 2fm, playing some really good music! In fact I stayed up till 2 listening and was a wee bit tired today at work... but I though Mark McCabe was all ugi ugi ugi, oi oi oi?

oh thank you for reminding me!! it was about 12 oclock and i was almost falling asleep when I heard a song i really liked and had to get up to write down the words cos he never announced who sang it ...must go find scap of paper. thank u!(i think he's in for Jenny) ok, in my doziness, i wrote down one line, i guess i assumed id remember the rest of it. the line is 'brighter than sunshine' i know ive heard it before and it sounded like aqualung, anyone know?Edited by: ali*

Thats right, off the second album "Still Life" I prefer the first album "Aqualung", its more ... delicate I suppose, still life has a fuller sound.
Going to see them on the 11th of march. Not a bad way to spend the day before your birthday.
