Bonjour
I guess I should formally introduce myself since I've neglected to do this...
My name is Jen, mid-20's, from New York and currently working in law and on my way to law school. I was introduced to Damien Rice back in 2002 by a very very gracious friend who lives in London and passed along a copy of the UK release of "O"- to her I am forever grateful. I went to my 3rd Damien show last night in Boston and cannot wait for the September leg of shows. All the shows I've seen of him are in Boston and the most recent one has been my favorite. Other things I enjoy (I feel like I'm writing a personal ad, HA): snowboarding, running, reading, Paris:France, good beers, writing, of course music, and much more... So Hi everyone and thanks for being so kind (the few I've talked to so far!)

Hi. I just attended my first show in NYC and it was amazing.
I guess maybe I should give a little bit more about myself as well... I'm 29, recently married, living in "Gorges" Ithaca NY. I enjoy wine, good food, music, dancing, swimming, and watching the sunset on the lake out my living room window. I'm a social worker for the department of mental health. Cheers! |

Did you grow up in Syracuse or outside? I grew up in Oxford (no, not england, although that would've been nice) a very small town about 30 miles north of binghamton. I've been in ithaca for a little over 2 years now. I love it here! If you haven't visited, you should. It is truly an amazing place.

I grew up a little outside of Syracuse, but am very familiar with all of CNY. I've been to Ithaca only a handful of times, and I agree, it is very beautiful, but still too small for me
