Default 9 Crimes guitar version as MP3?

Is there anywhere I can get the alternative version of 9 Crimes from '9' (the one just before the first track, accessible only by rewinding)? I have no idea whatsoever how to rip it from the CD, but I'd like to listen to it on the go, as well. Help, anyone?

Thanks, everyone!

@SoCal: The 9 Crimes demo appears to be DRM protected, unfortunately. So...

...@golnazv86 and mariaoran: It would be great if you could send the two versions to my username added by @gmail.com

It's amazing how supportive Eskimofriends are!

...ummm i dunno where you want me to put them up buuut!!!..... go to these links and download it from there!!

9 crimes (damien solo) on the guitar ::
http://www.sendspace.com/file/ynajf1

I put up another version i got from somewhere ... kinda sounds like the demo (but live) with the difference that Lisa sings in it!
http://www.sendspace.com/file/kmk2rl

As for the 9 crimes Demo ... SoCal you need to go to your 4 shared folder and rename the file with ".mp3" at the end of the name ... soo it would be 9 crimes (demo).mp3 ... and that converts it into mp3
^^ sorry if you already know this... just trying to help

enjoy!

It's on a charity album called "The Cake Sale" so don't go downloading it illegally

Brilliant, thanks ever so much, marioan!

BTW: I renamed SoCal's file to .mp3 and it still doesn't work for me. I also found this thread:

http://www.eskimofriends.com/forum/s...2&page=1&pp=30

It has a guide to rip the track from the CD, but it seems to be a fairly complicated and not necessarily successful process, so I would rather have someone post the file or send it to me if they've already got it. And yes, I've owned '9' since launch day but have only lately got myself an MP3 player.

no problemo!!

oh and i meant that SoCal has to go in and change it herself because she's the only one that can change the names of the songs on the folder!

:-) I meant I was able to download the file and renamed it on my very own desktop. Didn't help, though, so I'm not sure if it'll work when SoCal does it with the same file on his computer. It seems a way too simple workaround for DRM, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if it does the trick.

It's an iTunes file and my friend had to download iTunes to be able to open it. IT's free on their website...but I'll try to change the file for you...

Ok....I bought it from iTunes so maybe you can only use that program to open it? So I downloaded it from another site for you to download. The quality isn't as good, but I guess if you want the better version you might have to download iTunes. I labeled the iTunes version with iTunes in the name so there's no confusion....

Cheers again! I've got iTunes on my computer, but the demo is not available on the German store, for some reason. Thanks for the alternative mp3 you've uploaded! The quality is quite alright, methinks, so it should definitely suffice until I manage to either rip the original track myself or find it somewhere else. Thanks a lot!

Got it, thanks, Golnaz! It's the same version as SoCal's second one (the non-iTunes one). It's great to see how many helpful there are.
