So I took some shots at yesterday's two gigs -- XPN and Tower.... Was also at the Beacon show with great seats, but as the house staff were all over people with camera-phones, I wasn't dare gonna risk anyone messing with my piece. When they saw it at the Tower, however, all they said was "Don't use a flash." And with that, it was off to the races....

XPN was especially great -- acoustically perfect venue, intimate, not a bad seat in the house, with the most massive crowd a Free-At-Noon's ever had... and I've seen my share of 'em. Damo came out at gig's end, sitting on the edge of the stage and chatting with some folks.

Oh, and as if we didn't know before, Lisa Hannigan is the reigning queen of Boho Chic. Last night felt like some kind of Austrian/Mountain Stage summer-festival, in the best possible way.

If anyone's got recordings of Beacon Wednesday/Tower, please let me know. I could trade, B&P, send more pics... whatever.
