I wanted him to sing Insane too when he was asking us. People kept shouting Elephant and Cold Water but he played The Professor instead. lol

Yes! Front Door! That would have been good. It's so incredibly rare though.

I was also hoping for "What This Night Is For" but I'm not the type to yell things out. I'm scared like that.
The Blower's Daughter unplugged was really beautiful. From where I was sitting, I could hear it perfectly but I was still at the edge of my seat. I'm so glad everyone was quiet during that. |

Yeah, the person yelling out Cold Water was really close to me. All I heard was that and Elephant.
I'm so glad no one near me was singing because that's such a pet peeve of mine. Although, that may be because someone near my section was clapping during the beginning of The Blower's Daughter and got shushed right away. I can't wait until he comes back. I'm definately going again. |

1st set of uploads!
This is some of what Hodder recorded... we didn't have any proper recording equipment, so it's all just recorded on our digital cameras. But, I think they turned out pretty well. I'll get the second batch up in a few hours: Marti, you can move them to your 4shared folder later if you like, but for now this seemed easier? Grey Room: http://www.sendspace.com/file/gasyaq Coconut Skins > pretty intense jam > Woman Like A Man: http://www.sendspace.com/file/aitp8q Blower's Daughter (unplugged): http://www.sendspace.com/file/g36ibt Adorable banter (including the "everybody take your clothes off" line): http://www.sendspace.com/file/yyxuyr Accidental Babies (8 and a half minutes long! The outro was gorgeous): http://www.sendspace.com/file/ntixvo |

Aww..I know. Stupid security! What side of the theatre were you on?
Just found this on YouTube. It's The Blower's Daughter unplugged even though it's labeled Eskimo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0rAd4yfWB8 Last edited by armyofstars; 09-12-2007 at 02:49 AM. |

I was checking YouTube all day since I got really bored in class. lol You got pretty good seats. I was in Row G, seat 21 so right in the aisle.
Did you see the girls get up and dance during one of the songs? I think that's what happened because suddenly I saw everyone's head shift to the right but I couldn't really see what was going on. |

I like how I've made two comments, and both are negative about the audience. Overall I find the audience at his shows to be quite good. Its just that when most of the audience is really good, it makes those loud people stand out even more. I really enjoyed the show. The long jams with mad drumming were great, and I'm always amazed at how special accidental babies feels live. I've seen him twice, and both times I've got shivers down my spine from the song that he does completely without amplification. Oh and I heard someone requesting the professor during the yelling! |

Rootless Tree
Amie - jam - Eskimo Cannonball I Remember - Bang Bang 9 Crimes Childish (!!!!!!!!) Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots (Viv's song) Me, My Yoke and I The Blower's Daughter (unplugged) Grey Room Coconut Skins Woman Like a Man -- Accidental Babies Volcano The Professor & La Fille Danse Cheers Darlin' (usual story) I was going through the files and had to point out that Yoke happened before the blower's daughter. Had to clear that up. The file will be up somewhere shortly - everything we've got that is. |

Just downloaded the banter...I loved it when he was like "Or just f*cking turn off the AC" because I was like "hell ya! It's freezing!" Really, it was so cold in there.

2nd set of uploads!
Cheers Darlin': http://www.sendspace.com/file/rn2plv
I missed a bit of the story in the beginning, but got a pretty good chunk of it and the entire song The Professor & La Fille Danse: http://www.sendspace.com/file/286ai5 Volcano (with a looped outro): http://www.sendspace.com/file/mez995 And here's a link to the files that Hodder ripped: http://www.sendspace.com/file/yws4g5 It's a .rar with: 1) Amie > Eskimo 2) I Remember (but the ending was cut off - a shame, because he did this great little melody on the guitar and I haven't heard it before and just fell in love with) 3) Bang Bang (there's a little bit of that melody in the very beginning of this) 4) 9 Crimes 5) Childish 6) Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots 7) Me My Yoke and I I can put upload them separately if people can't unzip it... just let me know! And some more pictures: Last edited by srahman24; 09-12-2007 at 06:05 AM. |
