I've listened to the Album twice now, it's good stuff indeed but only for certain moods. His last album was a grower for me too, took me like a year to finally start playing it, and now i really like it.

Amy Winehouse - Back to Black

saw her perform live last night and was REALLY impressed. It was a night gig (it started at 1 AM) so I expected her to live up to her reputation of being a drunk and ****ing up on stage, but the show was tight and her voice was amazing!

I gave her album a listen but don't really see what the fuss is about? The songs and arrangements didn't really catch my attention, maybe I oughtta give it another spin?

I was hooked on the album immediately, but it might just not be your thing. I like the old vibe on the album, and some of the lyrics just seem to describe some things that are going on in my life right now, you know what I mean

I'll give it another listen

I'm listening to Nirvana - Nevermind. Somehow the noisier tracks are perfect for office work. Possibly cause they express the aggression I feel towards office work or summin. Rage against the Machine works very well for me too at the office. "F*ck you I won't do what you tell me!!".
And then I do what they tell me..

gheghe, i'm gonna see her in march. seems we still enjoy the same gigs.

I went to see MY Brightest Diamond last Tuesday. Wow, I had such a good time, what a lovely music and lady (tiny). And her covers from nina simone and prince sounded so original.

haha, I'm going to see My Brightest Diamond next tuesday and I'm really looking forward to it!

Only problem with the MBD gig might be that she's playing upstairs in the small room while Wolfmother is playing downstairs at the same time. So i hope the sound from the big room doesn't interfere.
