I detest the character of Rachel now. I think the producers are trying to tap into they dystopian world of Sex and the City, with the character of Rachel.
(don't get me started on Sex and the City, i simply feel sorry for all little girls growing up who watch this programme.)

little girls maybe not, but the characters are certainly not role models!

HMM, not sure I know what you mean, they are strong women who know what they want, and are also looking for someone to share their life with. I think that what really draws me in is the bond between the girls. I feel that way about my girlfriends. I think that Carrie the main character is a pretty good role model. Generally I think the other three are funny like a caricature of a real woman. Out of curiosity, what is the main problem you see with the girls ? Edited by: jbalogh

The only thing I currently watch at the moment is 24, and am completely hooked, and shock horror this morning when I went to download the latest episode it wasn't there , other than that I'm quite sad and watch anything that isn't fishing on Discovery Home and Leisure

Jackass makes me laugh but i can't watch half of dirty sanchez. Was watching the episode where he peirces his own penis the other night and without a penis it made me cringe, don't know how you lads could watch it. Think its a little too extreme! The tall one makes me chuckle though, the one who doesn't have many limitations.

It wasfunny when they kept shaving his head in his sleep though.

i just think that their lives are so materially driven. there's alot more to someone than high price fashion clothes and a promiscous nature. they seem to have no spiritual (not religious) drive. it makes me sad.
that's just me though, i'm weird like that. if i were you Julia, i'd ignore me!

i like 'seinfeld' a lot

and i like 'the dead zone'

and i liked 'clone high' it was on mtv for a bit, an animation, ridiculously hilarious if u gave it a chance.

there are a lot more, but i don't watch any tv anymore, so now they are just what i used to like, tv is very entertaining now that i think of it. but i do think that it is not good to watch it very much. thats a different topic though i suppose.
