Yea...I like that song as well. I was listening to that album at two in the morning (I have a little trouble sleeping) and I was just bawling because I was recollecting...not one of their best albums.

adam duritz is the greatest lyricist of all time!(in my opinion!)

my favorites from hard candy are...

-carriage
-up all night
-holiday in spain

i relate because I have gotten barely enough sleep since i graduated high school. Even before that I was a rotten sleeper. the lyrics and the way duritz sings it you can tell it kills him...just wrenches his soul dry

Yip Duritz is top notch. As for the irregular request, i thought it something different from the usual 'whats your fav cc's song'.

Miami is a great song. Thats the place I want to visit, straight after New Orleans...

there is nothing really great in Miami besides the food. You are better off staying in New Orleans.

miami is a great song but not one of my favourites of the album, except for the bridge (middle eight, watever its called) "she could pull the sunlight through me",duritz is the man! i heard counting crows are coming back in dec or jan?????anyone know if this is true?

and by the way flying crow, the best alternate of any crows song is goodnight elisabeth(f**k your christmas alternate) its so emotional!

cheers,

I def agree.. the only thing you'll find here (miami) is good food. ya want a good party, stay in new orleans. you want some greasy yet surprisingly filling arroz con bistec de pollo.. come on down!

whoa im really lost here.. i guess now that everyone has been hypin the cc up so much.. ihave no choice but to checktheir stuffout more in depth.

hope you guys are right!

You are going to make me cry lisa. It really is scary. Hmmm Alan tried to show me how to do it but let's face it, I am retarded (no comments from the peanut gallery!)

Tania...you will be hooked, enwrapthed, you will worship the crows.

hmmm I like them in order they were released. RTS was the second saddest and third most poetic. TDL was the second most poetic. I have never heard LAAW...damn.

edinburgh was great apart from the fact i wasn't really a damien fan and just wanted him to finish so i could see the crows. one song stood out from his set "the professor". so i thought id get the album for this song, how wrong was i. no professor on it, but i immediately loved the songs.

i doubt the crows will ever match aaea again, but as for the other three, id put rts second and tdl and hc in a draw for third. aaw is a great live album.

live across a wire is absolutely amazing!the first disc is a small acoustic gig for wh1 storytellers, its absolutly amazing!so f**kin emotional and the second disc is more of a rock and roll show!but then ther is some extreme emotion melted in also as counting crows do better than anyone!like in round here when he slows it down, and sssshhhhhh! the crowd and then slowly builds it back up,and sullivan street when at the end with the no no no its everthing, its everything i need!also the version of murder of one is so rockin fantastic!man i am gettin a bit excited thinkin bout it!

Counting Crows= Cassic folk and roll baby!

oi, if I had one celebrity to make love to (not just sex) it would have to be Adam Duritz. But if he puts his hair up in dog ears again..er..I may have to take a rain check. Life is good with Counting Crows. THeir official website sucks. It is soooooooooooo slow in addition the people on the message boards are just plain aweful to one another.
