Default New songs

Up on myspace.

New recording of my song Ebony Cars, plus a new cover of Volcano.

Any feedback would be great.

Audio quality isn't the best though.

I like your cover of Volcano. I'd drop the megaphone effect or whatever it is that you're using. It's a bit OTT

Hey Calum, love both songs, particularly the volcano cover, your voice sounds awesome. - I agree with Dean though, I think I'd lose the effect in ebony cars - I like the idea, but I think it'd work better without it

RE Volcano:

I love your voice. And your playing is great. The only thing Id suggest improving is the way you are recording.

I heard you POP a few times on the mic so I suggest getting a pop filter. And just also setting the EQ properly on the recording will improve it remarkably.

Otherwise it sounds really great!!!

Thank you. Yes, i agree! I'm much of an amateur, but i'm planning to get a pair of tights and stretch them over an old wire coathanger for a pop filter - saves me money :P
I'll give eq tweaking a shot, you're quite definitely right, i don't know anything about it though.

Thank you for your input.
