New Album Speculation!
It's a dangerous job getting our hopes up but I reckon we should have a thread to speculate who will be collaborating on the (presumably) 10 songs.
I'll start off with an easy one, his new squeeze, the French actress. Him and Nelly Furtado would be awesome |

Album for nature: Joel Shearer, Carmen Rizzo, Helgi Hrafn Jonsson, Glen Hansard (?)
Album of duets: Melanie Laurent, Thomas Dybdahl (I think it's the same album, but who knows) + Earl Harvin who has recorded with him after the Barcelona thing but we don't know on which album. |

Nice list, Glo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm guessing that the nature and the duets album has to be the same. The Iceland guy didn't mention which project, correct? just that he recorded 'for Damien Rice'?

I heard it's already done and ready to be released. Apparently, on the inside cover, it says "For LaurenM--My favorite eskimo..."

ohhhhhhh yes Tori Amos would be a dream come true
but I kinda think that it's gonna be low-key singer/songwriters as opposed to big names like Bono/Cohen... In fact the list that Glo posted earlier is the people who have confirmed via myspace/twitter that they have worked with Damien on the charity/duets project: the french girl Melanie, the Icelandic guy Helgi Jonsson (I did twitter him asking but he didn't reply), Carmen Rizzo, Thomas Dybdahl, Joel, Glen??, Earl Harvin?? ohhh and earlier we forgot about Joseph Karnes, member of Pedestrian, who also states in his myspace that he worked with Damien (all credit to Glo for finding this)

^ Thanks Spamlet. I had seen the Ani/Damien pics from Burma and read another blog about it, but had missed this one. It would be a great opportunity for a collaboration. Another Tori collaboration would be lovely too. Although TPOOK is not my one of my favorites.

I was just thinking about Damien and brazilian singer Maria Bethania. She is Caetano Veloso's sister (for those who knows a bit of brazilian music.) Check out these songs :
