paypal question

ok, i sold a guitar of mine and the guy payed through paypal. it says he paid, but the money hasn't entered my account and the status on paypal says "pending." the guy i sold it to payed last night though.

anyone know if it just takes a few days or is it because i haven't shipped the item yet? i'm shipping it tonight or tomorrow cause my mom just picked up a box to put the guitar in, but she isn't home yet.

is it normal to take a day or two to get the money into my account or is it something else?
