mic christopher story

i was posting about a mic christopher tribute gig i went to on the
"werid gig" thread, and i remembered this great story pete courtney
told and i'm going to share it with you.

when mic died, pete was really annoyed cos he couldn't go to the
funeral. but he heard from someone that it was great, more of a
celebration of his life than anything else. when they lowered the
coffin, they noticed something in the sky. some airplanes had crossed
their tracks in the clear blue sky and it looked just like three x's,
three kiss marks. pete had a dream a few nights later that he was in
this room, and mic came over to him and grabbed him by the shoulders
and started shaking him, saying over and over "pete, don't worry, it's
going to be alright" and pete was like "yeah mic, i know" and mic just
kept going "look mate, it's going to be all right!". pete woke up the
next morning and looked up at the sky, where there was a big kiss in
the sky..
