what did you guys all buy/make your mamas/grandmothers etc for today?
i made my mum a compilation cd of worship songs she was pleased

i think it's a different day in europe to the rest of the world. myself and my sister gave my mum a tray with a rose on it, with a fake flower, a little pot of jam, a box of teabags and a really nice mug on it. god bless marks and spencers!

never celebrated mums or dads day in my family. think it's basically a commercial idea so that chocolate and flower shops can make more money. i did miss my mum (who is dead) more today though, for no particular reason. sio i guess that is what i give my mum today: kind thoughts. wish you were still here, old bat! :'(

me mammy lives far away so i tried to phone her today a few times and no answer,just heard my brothers and sisters took her out for lunch and she drank too many bailies,now ive no doubt shes in a drunken coma,poor womans 82 years old.but im goin to see her on saturday,but i think shes an absolute saint to have had 12 of us and still be around,i love me mammy.

our mother's day isn't till may... but happy mothers day to all the european moms! (tho it's the day after now i guess... damn time difference...) hope everybody had a nice day anyway

gave my mam a voucher for the hairdressers. shes mad for her hair and gets it done every saturday afternoon so was delighted with it. yay good me!
