...and uhm, i am no guitar manufacturer expert, but when you say the
baby model sounded as your cheaper guitar maybe you should look into
another 'cheaper' brands (Yamaha, Takamine maybe) which have really
great models in that price range...

hey miss pink,

i´m no professional but i dont think there´s a huge difference between the woods because the baby taylors arent massiv build.

i thought about buying my girlfriend one because the guitars are so
little and went to the guitarshop. they sound great are well worth
their money but i thought they were to small. you also could get a big
baby taylor. same price, i think.

or do you want a really small guitar ?

i have a baby taylor and the sound off it when fingerpicked is soo nice its really like wow thats a really nice sound that i never got out of any other guitar before, however when strummed like a glen hansard solo session it sounds kinda clunky and dull and buzzy (intonation someone tells me) but well worth the money for the rock star acoustic shows i put on in my bedroom for ahem myself. yeah but the best advice youve already got play a load of em in the price range your lookin for and see which ones ya like and dont forget martin have some sweet low budgets these days too i played a mahogany one the other week and it sounde nice altogether

if you''re looking into the baby taylor can i recommend the alvarez msd1... it's less expensive and is made of all solid woods instead of the taylor laminates... it gets much better reviews in terms of sound quality and costs less money... that's all i'd need to hear to make my decision...
