i didnt hear it, but trust me, singing in public is FUN... the self-consciousness dies away when you realise that no-one gives a f^ck whet you're doing anyway.

Well done mate, that is a great cover!!! Especially when you belt it out at the end, you have a really strong voice, nice one. Also the guitar is handled really well and it is very accurate.

That playing was perfect, and the singing...BRILLIANT! You'd have no problems singing in public. I'm so damn jealous now...I've never understood how that song is played (damn incorrect tabs I keep getting)

cheers cyberbob! i had a look at the tab on this site and i think it's making things more complicated than it needs to be... here's what i do. capo 5th fret. chords used are F C and G: --F--C--G --1--0--3 --1--1--0 --2--0--0 --3--2--0 --3--3--2 --1--x--3 so at the start it goes from F to C, and you hammer-on with the second finger for both chords. when you play the F chord, play it first without the second finger, then hammer-on. for thefinal chord (G) I hammer-on the first fret on the b-string, altho i'm not sure if that's exactly right. the whole song basically uses those ideas. i find it easier myself to think of it in terms of chords rather than an actual tab. anyway, hope that's of some help! PS!! for the F chord, use your thumb on the low E string, don't bar the chord with your first finger, otherwise when you hammer-on you'll get the wrong note. sorry if you knew that already, it just took me a while to figure out what damo was doing there! |
