Default 'Benefit' gig and ebay

Yes, I am gutted to have missed out on tickets for the gig at the Palladium, but if there are to be further shows around Europe then that's great as i'll catch one of them.

But what really angers me is the amount of tickets on sale on ebay I stumbled across this morning - and at as much as £60 a ticket and rising! As if this form of fan exploitation didn't boil my blood enough, it's the fact people are cashing in on what is supposed to be a benefit concert, isn't it? Considering the proceeds are to go to the AAPPB, will the obscene profit makers on ebay also donate their proceeds to them? Probably not i'm guessing.

For some reason I feel like apologising in case anyone on this board has bought tickets and then listed them on ebay, but no chance, if you've gone and done this, I bloody hope you're going to use the money you make to put it back into the AAPPB.

Not that i'm bitter about not getting to the gig, of course

Paris has been added to the dates now on June 30, very convenient as that's where i'll be on that date as part of my trek around Europe. So i'm happier now, albeit still bitter at the ebayers.

Completely agree with your post Grant. But I doubt any of the profits made on ebay will benefit anyone except the touts who've listed them on there. Makes me so mad!!
