Hi folks!!

What's really The Professor about?? Is it about a really clever boy who just cant understand how to get his girlfriend back??

Or is it about sexual fustration?? Comming to fast and not getting it up??[img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img]

God Knows, lyrics are personal etc......

but I look to it as a bloke who always messes up with girls in general and not one in particular. Finds it impossible to get it right. But then again who gets love right? He thinks about it too much and too many other things and can't concentrate on the important bits.

well something like that, not going to say I know what the good man is thinking!

i think maybe its sort of a mixture of both your suggestions - its all about frustration regarding a relationship damien feels he should know why she would stay or leave, he feels he should know why this girl does certain things, it is quite a bitter song but i still love it its a very passionate song!

i think when he refers to what makes the animal run run away he might be talking about men - and the fact that they have a complex with committing!!i was at a gig of his ages ago and sum1 asked bout his new album and he said "im not goin to committ - dont u know men are afraid of commitment"

He introduced this song at the solo gig in glastonbury by saying that he's good at two things, one is being late and the other is f**king up relationships amd that this song is about f**king up relationships.Edited by: #Ian#
