Hey does anyone know what that guitar on the volcano video is.


I think its a takamine but im not sure what series or anything.


Thats the one down there

Yeah its pretty class. Theres a pretty amazing guitar my Avalon (lowden) on sale sumwhere at around £580 dunno where tho

I had trouble with it too. I just played along to it until i got it right. Now, i even improvise with it, it's not that hard after a while.
Maybe someone else will explain the rhythm for you, i'm crap at that sort of thing.

I want to see that volcano video. it seems to be different than the one in the us and he also uses a different guitar. please show me a link or something to that video thanksssssss

i have a recording of my band playingvolcano, lonelily, cannonball, delicate(with cello) and professor, but i only have it on minidisc, im having trouble putting it onto pc,

ha, damien seems to have us all ther! do you play open A minor, or barred?? and does it go to g7, or g? i'm pretty sure it's f then. what do you guys play through the verse, just the one string??

for the verse it is A G F (All barred) until it gets to the part where it says "Don't build your world around...." It changes to G then F


It goes back tonormal for the Chorus and then for the part "What i give to you...." open chords are played

its the only guitar that Damien uses!! he does not have a spare so it must be that one.Its a Lowden of some kind. Dont know what model, but its a pretty hot guitar!!

it's def a lowden is the guitar he uses


and as far as i know answering ben is right he doesn't using anything else.

Alright ppl,

Everyone who thinks that he plays a Lowden on the picture is wrong.
I know that he only plays his lowden live but on this picture its a takamine. and i am 99% sure that its a EN 40.

after coser examination ryan runner is right his lowden has a signature at the top of the headstock where as takamine all have a signature betweenthe tuning pegs
