Bad news?
I'm confused. And appalled.
I just spent some time at Damien's official homepage and realised that at the live-section they state that "The Magic Numbers" will be supporting Damo at the gigs in Germany and a few others. NOT Ray LaMontagne. And Fionn Regan at some of the British gigs. Well, that wouldn't be that bad if I hadn't tried to find out what is true... So I went to the German Warner website where they first had announced that Ray would be the support act. And what do I see? Absolutely SHOCKING news: Quote:
 I don't know if it's true, but considered that Damien has cancelled shows before... I don't know. On the other hand, if dr.com is right and the support act for the German dates was supposed to be "The Magic Numbers", then it means that Warner has already announced some incorrect news, so maybe this one is also just a hoax... |

I've confirmed with Damien's management that this is NOT TRUE... Warner in Germany have made a mistake. The dates are going ahead!
Also, they had hoped that Ray could have joined Damien for some dates, but he is instead taking a well earned break. The Magic Numbers will be supporting. |

 You just saved my day! Probably these idiots (sorry...) at Warner received the news that Ray (!) cancelled as SUPPORT act and just got that wrong.  Sorry for causing any heart-attacks... ;-) |

ok, this has not a direct effect on me... but i´m so glad that those concerts are not cancelled!...

"19.01.2007 Deutschland-Termine fallen aus! Achtung: Damien Rice kommt im März NICHT nach Deutschland! Noch ist nichts Genaueres bekannt, aber fest steht, dass die vier Termine ausfallen. " I feel quite dumbfonded and am not sure to trust anybody not to get disappointed in the and. how sure is that info about the shows being NOT cancelled? I can`t dare yet to feel happy and look forward to the gig again..

although i'm not going to any of the germany gigs i felt like losing my breath for a second... but now i'm happy for everyone that they gigs are still on.
oh yes, and constanze, you can trust the word of our admin. he would never lie to you

I am glad that this was a Mistake, but now I am still a little bit afraid that they cancel the German Gigs! I am glad so much about 11th March!
