I'm really happy for you girls!
I'm smiling because I got an A on my essay on sign language development. Really proud of it, actually. And I only have one big exam to go (tomorrow ) and the one of the language course next week, but that's easy... then I've got a bit of a break of about two or three weeks. I guess. But the biggest thing is over tomorrow afternoon.

One thing that made me laugh pretty load was when Josh Rouse sang quiet town like Michael Bolton on his concert. That means big gestures and a dramtic voice.

I left work a bit early today to beat rush hour because we are having bad weather, and it only took me 35 minutes to get home, instead of the usual hour. I had no idea it was possible to make the drive in such a short amount of time, I'm going to really try hard to get up earlier on the days I have to work so I can leave work earlier and not have to sit in traffic so much.

i had my last big exam today for this semester so i went out a bit longer with some people from the choir tonight and it was really nice. we bumped into a jazz session which wasn't too bad at all. just the guest singer that came up on stage reminded me too much of christina aguilera or however you spell her... she had a good voice but she was too much of a pop diva for my taste... anyway. i really enjoyed going out for a drink again.

I'm going to burn my purple scrapbook with all my previous poetry, songwriting, bad memories.
I'll use the rest of my brandy. (it made me both down and smile, so i'm posting it in both..ambivalence to the situation, really) Down by the beach

i went ice skating today on the huge square in front of our town hall. they made it really pretty this year and i really had a good time. it was my first time ice skating in about 8 years or so... well, it was really fun until i tripped and turned my left knee into a bright and colourful easteregg... it's far too soon for eastereggs!
but the two hours before that were fun

Napoleon Dynamite is on TV tonight, I saw it once a few years ago and loved it, so I'm looking forward to watching it again tonight while starting on a scrapbook I'm making for my sister of of her wedding from a few years ago. They got married on the organic vegetable farm where they both used to work, so there are a lot of really cool pictures to work with. One of them is of my mom & husband trying to get a bee out of the big bell sleeve of her wedding dress.

Took this photo at about 6am last night when it started to snow hail.. just looked out the window now and its steady downfall of snow!
Feels like years since we had snow

jesus its still snowing over here! we are getting loads!! usually when it snows it ends within 8 minutes, but this is like a proper snowing session. Uni got closed today because of it, and i still react to that the same as i did when i was 6 and found out school was snowed in, with dance!
