Ouch... I didn't have any idea, I would've loved to have made use of it! I do quite a bit of trading on various Hubs and would've loved a source for Damien Rice! I've only a hand full of shows. Any suggestions on Hubs that might have some Damien Rice material? |

I've been trying to get through that site, but I'm more into downloads than actual trades. Looks like I might have to drop my hate into the ring in this case. I've been trying for about 2 or 3 weeks to finish up a Damien Rice torrent that I found on Dime... it's for June 30, 2005. I managed to find a few FLAC files on a website actually and I found a few more in a Hub but then the user with the rest logged off and hasn't been seen in weeks. Now I'm on two torrents of the show stuck at 93.7% just hoping someone will hop on to seed! It's up at Dime and up at BootCity... can't seem to get either one to re-seed. But I'm keeping up hope. - edit... after posting this, a certain Buddy was kind enough to hop on over at BootCity to help me finish up! Thanks so much for that! hehe... I'm listening to it right now. After reading this thread I've been keeping my eyes on BootCity a lot more and it seems like it's got the most Damien Rice torrents. Hopefully I'll be able to hop on some newer torrents should they pop up. Last edited by jab1981; 06-01-2006 at 11:48 AM. |

marti, you need a client like dc++ in order to download from a hub. google 'hub' or 'dc++' for more information. you can email me if you have any problem. cam, i just saw this post but you too can email me if you still need help

Thanks Buddy & Cali!! I kinda understand how it works... but this dc++ is only for Windows??? I'm a MAC user, does it work for MACs as well?
I found something called ShakesPeer which apparently I can use to connect to hubs... anyone used that? Then I just need the Hub Address (this elite.4242 you were mentioning... I imagine)... but do i also need a password?? Thanks again |

^ no password, but in the description you should enter 'newbie' unless you have a few gigs to share, 10gigs i think. and your nick should start with [HUN]
j, what's your username, buddy?

[HUN]buddy
i'm joining now. for some reason my internet likes to disconnect randomly, so there's no guarantee that my share will be available all weekend. also, i think (i don't read the language this hub uses..) that you need to have at least 4 slots available for upping and you have to put your up/down speed in your description (you can do this on the 'personal information' tab of the settings window). |

Thanks for doing this! I'm trying to set up DC++ now, hopefully it'll all work. Doesn't seem too complicated... so far.

one more word of advice: don't try to DL my entire share all at once. i only have 4 uploading slots (and only 30k) available, so if you hog one all weekend, no one else will be able to get anything. be a team player and check dime and bootcity.org for the shows you're looking for first.

I manage to start it up, I see your [HUN]buddy (I also see Srahman ), but when I do a search I don't find any full concert, just a bunch of single mp3s and some flacs... any suggestions?
thanks in advance |

hi marti Find Buddy's file list (right click-get file list) and then you can browse through his very nicely organized folders and pick the shows you want...
thanks again for doing this, you have a pretty amazing collection there. |

Also, JBTongue - that might mean you don't have a port open for connections (I think?), so if you're behind a firewall or a router or something then just make sure you've got the right one open... and that that's the one listed in your settings
