Damien was arrested for crack cocaine and heroin in NYC
http://www.silive.com/northshore/ind...es_felony.html
...And it says he was with Bloods gang members. Is Damien HARD? May 11, 2010, 7:00AM STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - A thrice-convicted felon and reputed Bloods gang member once again faces felony drugs charges after police say they found crack cocaine, heroin and packaging materials in his West Brighton apartment. Damien Rice, 38, of the 200 block of Davis Avenue, was arrested early Friday morning, after detectives with the NYPDs Staten Island Gang Squad found the drugs in his apartment, court papers allege. In all, police found a scale with crack residue, several zipper bags, razor blades, rubber bands and glassine envelopes in a living-room area; more than a hundred glassine bags and a plastic twist of heroin, as well as multiple zipper bags of crack in a closet; and two more glassines of heroin hidden in a cell phone, court papers allege. Rice is charged with two counts each of third- and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Public records show Rice has done three separate stints in state prison since 1990, all on drug-dealing or drug-possession charges. Rice is still on parole for a 2005 drug possession conviction, records show. |

O goodness, too funny!! Thanks for the laugh - really needed it today. Just think of the music he'd write if he really were in prison.

Maybe this was him. It'd certainly clear up a few questions of his whereabouts.

He did it again!
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- They’re the usual suspects, and they’re back behind bars again. A trio of repeat felons has been swept up in an undercover sting targeting crack dealers in Stapleton. Police this week arrested Damien (Drama) Rice, 39; Jay (Glasses) Daniels, 29; and Vigil (Viggy) Holman, 46, who have all done multiple stints in state prison, as part of a narcotics sting operation that dated to February. Also arrested were Sean (Smokey) Whitted, 32, and Wornyonwon (Jeff) Jeffrey, 30. According to indictments filed in state Supreme Court this week, Rice, Daniels, Whitted and Jeffrey are accused of selling crack to undercover detectives over the past few months. They’re all charged with third-degree sale of a controlled substance, as well as third- and seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, said Peter N. Spencer, a spokesman for District Attorney Daniel Donovan. Holman ended up arrested when police raided Rice’s Targee Street home in Stapleton early yesterday morning and found crack, MDMA, heroin and marijuana hidden throughout the residence — inside a vase, in false-top cans, and on the floor of a bedroom, according to court papers. Police also found a scale in the microwave, court papers allege. That led to an array of felony and misdemeanor drug charges for both men. Rice has a drug-dealing record dating to at least 1990, when he served what would be the first of three prison terms. He has a half dozen additional open cases in Stapleton Criminal Court. Daniels, of Warren Street in Stapleton, has served two prison terms for drug-related convictions in 2001 and 2004. In the 2004 case, Daniels had pleaded guilty two years prior to a drug-dealing charge, but skipped out on a court-ordered treatment program and fled to North Carolina. When the court caught up with him in 2004, he received a 10-year sentence, and was paroled this past February. Holman, of Kimberly Lane in Clifton, who also goes by the first name of Virgil, has a more diverse criminal career. He was sentenced to a two-to-four years prison term in 1988 after grand larceny conviction, and another two-to-four year term in 1997 for a robbery conviction. His most recent prison sentence was handed down in 2008 — up to five years for sale of a controlled substance, and he was paroled last July. Whitted, of the 300 block of Richmond Terrace in New Brighton, is also no stranger to police —he was arrested on drug-related charged back in 1997 and 2004, Advance records show, though the outcome of those cases were not immediately available. Jeffrey, of the 200 block of Osgood Avenue in Stapleton, has two open cases in criminal court on disorderly conduct and engine idling offenses. http://www.silive.com/northshore/ind...operation.html This guy is a terrible drug dealer Gotta love google alerts! |

"Drama" is certainly an improvement over "Dodi Ma"

It certainly describes his life situation better, poor thing. Not that I know what Dodi Ma would mean?

I think no-one understood "Dodi Ma" apart from Damien. I think the others were too weirded out to mock him into abandoning it.
