Damo's guitar.
Hey everyone, I know this has been asked already but my search turned out several pages and I didn't feel like going through each one. Anyway, does anyone happen to know what brand of guitar Damien's acoustic is? And if any of you were at the Oakland show last night, any idea what kind of electric he was using? I was trying to make it out but I think they covered the brand name or perhaps it was a custom. And while we're on the subject, I need to go buy some new strings for both my acoustic and electric...any suggestions? I currently have D'Addarios on both and wouldn't exploring a bit. Thanks in advance. Peace.

"His guitar is a Japanese made Lowden, built between 1980 and 1985, it looks like an S10 which the modern day equivalent of a Lowden O10 or indeed a Mahogany / Cedar O35." ~ George Lowden
I use D'Addarios too. I have tried Martin and they are good too (for acoustic)... but taking the fact that I have a 50$ cheap ass guitar negates the aforementioned statement. :P |

The electric he normally uses for live gigs is a custom Fender Telecaster - the black one with the maple fretboard yes? It's a beast, i love it and it's beauty.

Yeah, that was exactly it! It sounded so phenomenal. Thanks for all the tips guys. By the way, any idea about what strings he uses on both guitars? Peace.
