Shivaree!!........(brrrrr)

OK, many moons ago I posted a thread about Shivaree as at the time I was Really into them. I think maybe trica was the only person to have heard of them....anyway, those of you who have seen/ will see Kill Bill 2, will hear Ambrosia singing 'Goodnight Moon' at some point throughout the film, this was their biggest single, but dont judge a band on one song, they've two great, diverse albums. And now for what I'm really excited about!!- after about two years, they have another album coming out (in the US [img]smileys/smiley5.gif[/img]) in August. YAYYYYY- GO BUY IT!!!!

here's the fan club, they're from the US, ambrosia Parsley is the beautiful lead singer, they play a mixture of music which i cant really describe, bossa nova, alt country.... the singer sounds a bit like lisa only she has a more babyish quality like emilie simon, only not as much.

I have loved Shivaree for quite a while now. They used to play them on the radio (KCRW) in Los Angeles frequently. This is also the station that introduced me to D. Rice. You should check it out online. Great live stuff too.
