One is a black ibanez GSR 205, and the other is no bass, tis my electric guitar - it's a daisy rock :P just for fun hehe..

And just out of sight, round the corner is my baby - my acoustic. I love her so much that I named her 'clitoris' - she's THAT good.

Oh and on the left there is the edge a huge picture of Damien, that I took when I played at Vicar street in august. It brings me great joy! :P

You're so lucky. I have the whole album on my iPod already but it was not bought. But I do plan to buy it. Damien deserves the money. Mind taking a pic of the huge pic on the wall and showing us?

haha no problem!
I was quite chuffed to have taken it without my camera on zoom

Especially as i took very few because it's so distracting for the performers - I was lucky to get such a goodun.

Uh-oh, judging by some of you (yes, I mean you Beevers and Hollie!), it looks like it may be time for another "Post a pic of your guitar" thread...

The original copy of the pic is on my computer at home (i'm at uni at the mo) but when I go home at christmas I will PM you the picture

I can send you the original colour version, and the black and white, and the slightly photoshopped version that I played with a bit (that's the one I took a pic of) if you like, then you can take your pick. (No pun intended )

Oooh I wasn't around when the guitar thread was in existance - therefore it must definately be done again, as I am important.

Glad you like the pic of my extatic face - i'm fairly sure it is an exact representation of every eskimo's at some point during the last 5 days

I would love to lie and say that you are right - and that I did infact support Mr Rice at Vicar Street in August.

However, I'm afraid you are only half right. I didn't play at Vicar Street (one day!! ONE DAY I SAY!!) But i did take the picture with my own fair hands. Front row center i was, and what a fine position it was too. It was the most glorious evening of my life, so I'm glad to have captured the essence of the memory.

Oops, gone soppy.

Me too! It scares some people a bit I think, cause they think I get sad or something, when in fact I'm just... emotional.

Great pic of you, girl, I can feel the excitement from here! And if nothing goes wrong, tomorrow I may have the same expression on my face

Btw, that pic of Damien is absolutely awesome

I did indeed travel to see him - from the bottom end of cornwall in the UK. Took a while, and was expensive. But i'd do it all again even if it cost 3 times what it did - it was amazing.

yeah..it must be worth it. I even thought about taking a cheap plane to Ireland next time...but if I`m lucky...he`ll come and see me and sing me to sleep I mean if I`m lucky he`ll be playing not too far away from my home on the upcoming european tour.

Btw, Costanze, I love the phrase you have in your signature

And I desperately want him to come to Italy...I think last time he's come here it's been 3 years ago

My signature is- as I learnt from maccas81 a quote from a song called 'come from the heart' by Mary Chapin Carpenter...It`s a pity I don`t know that song...but nevermid I like the sense of it, too (of course)
