I somehow have this song on a cd, and can't find it on my computer, or any info on it. Does anyone have this mp3?

the song is called "black is the colour", the most famous version of it - as far as i know is by christy moore, i think it's a cover version he's doing...

i don't have the damien-version as an mp3, but i have this one and could send it to you, if you want... i know it's not the same http://www.myspace.com/thejoeagleproject/music

i have this ^ version and it is beautiful... even more than damien, and i mean it i think this song suits a female voice way better.

It's an old Appalachian song with Scottish roots. I do have an mp3, but with the rubbish sound quality and the fact that it's just a fragment I wouldn't recommend having it. If you still want the song, PM me with your email.

The best version I've heard is by Cara Dillon:

Thank you for that video. It's funny, that song sounded so familiar to me. But then again, I grew up in Appalachia with Scottish roots so maybe that's why!
