ruairi deleastar, as you presumed Jeff Buckley was not Irish, but born in Los Angeles (son of the folk singer Tim Buckley)

Jeff's ancestors were hedgemasters from Cork, though.

Hazy, that's exactly what I was
thinking. After Damien rice, the next musician I think of is van Morrison.I love into the mystic. I feel like if you love Damien's music, you'll love van Morrison.
