Hello Eskimo friends!
Hi. My name is Rachel, I am 32 and from Atlanta, Ga. I have only been listening to Damien's music for a few months. I watched Once on Netflix, started watching all of their videos on Youtube and stumbled across Damien's music. Had heard his name before, but haven't paid attention to music other than records from the 60's-70's that my parents and in laws had. Just hated everything on the radio and now I have started getting into discovering other great new musicians that aren't mainstream. Musicians that pour their heart into their music and aren't puppets for the industry! Sorry I missed his shows when he was actually in Atlanta and I lived under a rock, I think I've seen almost every concert he's done on youtube although I know it's not the same! I am a painter and I used to paint based on Beatles songs. I may try this approach with Damien's lyrics! Anyway, hello again! Everyone seems nice here.

you should check other music thread out. you will find great music and artist. i dare myself to recommend you this argentinian singer-songwriter, who is brilliant, imo: lisandro aristimuño. he sings in spanish... but music has no language, has it?

Welcome Rachel!
There's an art thread in the Everything Else forum if you ever wanted to share any of those Beatles paintings...

Hi Rachel! Nice to meet you. I don't know how I stumbled across this, (must be that I am a new Damien fan and have been watching tons of videos on youtube) but go to youtube and type in Damien Rice Improv Rachel song. Short clip, but I like the song!
