Cool, might see you there so. I'd imagine this one will sell out quickly though so I'd get a move on if I were you.

Johnny Cash tribute
Vicar Street, Dublin – 26 May 2004 The long awaited Johnny Cash tribute has been announced at last. A wide range of musical talents will pay homage to the Cash by putting on a show to remember in Vicar Street, Dublin on 26 May. Anne Scott, Bell X1, Bray Vista, David Kitt, Ira Hayes, Kila, The Walls and very special surprise guests will each sing their favourite Johnny Cash songs for charity. This performance is part of a series of tributes. In September, Vicar Street also play host to a Bob Dylan tribute night that was headed by Ron Sexsmith and in the past there was also an Elvis Costello singers night featuring Elvis himself. Proceeds on the night will go to Gorta that is working on a project called Grannies, which in essence is trying to find Grannies to foster children who's parents are dead or dying of Aids. Don’t miss your chance to see some of Irelands favourite performers pay tribute to Johnny Cash at Vicar Street, Dublin on 26 May. Tickets are on sale now. |

lol saw them support keane again last night!!! Were better than the Astoria! lol the lead singer got really carried away and tripped over his microphone lead and feel over flat on his back and bashed into the drum kit!!! Was really funny! He said he was sooo embarrased! Very good live band, I will buy the album when I can afford to...theres too much good stuff out at the moment.

No, they aren't playing the Johnny Cash tribute gig now, tonight is a proper Bell X1 gig with support from the republic of loose and Dave Couse.
