I was peer-pressured into getting a tattoo in Ireland last month, but I resisted. And sadly I couldn't talk any of the yanks I was with to decorate themselves with a time-worn celtic symbol: the spud.

Wow, Yetzirah! That looks very beautiful yet painful. I have a small sunflower tatoo, that's all I could tolerate!

i'm so curious, how it'll look like in the end. one day it should be a full-back. we just don't know how long it'll take. it depends on how long i'll last per appointment. i just can't wait for the wind- and water-elements to be there! although it is pretty painful. the back is not fun at all. but the pain is there only for a few days and then i'll have the beautiful outcome for quite some time, so it's alright and the tattoo-artist already became something like a friend, so i don't mind spending time at the studio. a sunflower is a beautiful idea, though, too... could you post a picture of it?
