Well, since you and I are both in the States, Gemm, I'll just send you some of mine to tide you over for the time being. A good friend of mine has the same problem... she's about 5'6" and usually hovers around 100 lbs. Can't keep any extra weight on at all. However, she just married in June, so we're hoping that married life'll plump her up a bit. |

That would be me... I am 5'6".
I am waiting for that too, but that is another 5 years or so down the road. Until than, I have to deal with everyone mentioning how tiny I am.

I live just two hours west of Chicago, so me too... I love it, but living there would be quite a change for me.

I think I need a lot of training to be able to beat you on the number of posts... Mind you, I do have a social life! I've seen "Calendar girl" yesterday, is it out in the States?

All my friends live out of state now-a-days.. So it is going to be my turn in a few weeks! Maybe someday, if I ask Santa enough, I might just get a life...
I don't know if that is out here... I rarely go to see films in the theater, so I have no clue...

yikes, hmmm, ok ali, time to gather thoughts... first of all id like to apologise for the moany nature of the last posts, they were not written as a cry for compliments or attention although thank you all the same. yes being a teenager sucks, i think everyone could write a fe**ing novel on their own 'issues' growing up, anorexia, bulimea, self-harm depression, i've encountered them all (not all personal experiences, but friends etc.). yes, there's pressure from media and the 'it' girls in school who seem to love putting people down for enjoyment. yes there are stresses, strains blah blah blah but you get over it, at least you move on. its fairly selfish 4 me to whine when i've got so many things going for me. although most of us are aware beauty is from the inside and shines through and that being special and unique is about who we are and not what we wear or do, its a lot easier to write it than live by it. eventually we all realise that perfection is us with our flaws, at least i hope we do. things just take time. phew, i think im finished now.*steps off soap box* mwah!! kisses for everyone!!

But you know Ali... It's okay! Pretty much everyone goes through the same thing. It suck no doubt, but most of us get over it... Which is a very good thing.
I don't think anyone in junior high, or high school ever knows everything about themselves. To be cheesy, it take awhile to finally figure things out for yourself. I still have a lot of time before that happens. The good thing is, one you get out of the high school environment, it is so much easier to do that. I don't know what it is, but that environment is bad for everyone... Maybe someday it will change, we can only hope!

Someday, someone will ask around for all teenage girl's diaries..and then we will see the true side of what it's like being a teenage..not the lip gloss and LYKE OMG SHOPPING SIDE. But it ends...right? Please say it does...*continous keyboard head banging* =D Compared to some of the horror stories I've heard..I think I'm making it through alright.. (and hey..Gemm you can have some of my extra pounds too! I don't need 'em!)

It does end. It did for me, mostly. It was a good thing indeed. I would have gone completely mad if it didn't!

Haha! I don't think so Smithy... It consists more in telling one another how great we are, so we don't forget it... Have I told you today howfunny and nice andhandsomeyou were, Smithy? Ps: don't have time to check if your pic's on there, but I'm pretty sure you are
