Right, I know its kinda sad to want to be friends with celebs just because they are famous but living or dead, who would be your top 5 celebrities to be friends with and why?
1. Bill Hicks Dead comedian, the closest thing I have to a hero/idol. Very funy and smart guy, he could have shown me spaceships. 2. Thom Yorke My favourite musician, seems a smart guy, I think he'd be interesting to talk to. Might not be that much fun though. 3. Damien Why not? I love taunting vegetarians. 4. JFK I think the guy was a bit of a sleaze actually but hes a fascinating character. And politics is something that I find very interesting. Also if he wasn't around I might have gotten a chance to nail Marilyn Monroe. 5. Carrie Fisher Strange I know but I heard her being interviewed on Rattlebag today and she seemed really clever and funny and nice and cool. She seemed like someone that would be good to have as a mate. Plus, she was Princess Leia (my first crush). Also as she was in Star Wars there is the chance she might intrduce me to George Lucas so I can go "-shakeing him by the throat- you bastard, you ruined it all with your sh*tty episode 1 and 2s, you ruined my favourite childhood memories, DIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE". Ahem, I don't like the new films

in no particular order: morgan freeman. i think he has the best speaking voice and i would just love to sit and listen to him talk. heironymous bosch. i would love to ask him "what the f*ck" and sit back and listen to his answers. wes anderson. i think he's brilliant filmmaker and screenwriter and oh so precise. i imagine he would be an excellent, articulate conversationalist. paul simon. but paul simon about 20 years ago. after graceland but before he got really old and sickly looking. i think mr. simon is abrilliant singer/songwriter. it was his music that made me love music. john irving. i have so many questions i would like to ask him about his work. and then i would use my feminine wiles to manuever my way into his next book. his novels twist and turn so intricately - i imagine he is very thoughtful and i know that he is a masterful storyteller. good lord this was difficult. but a good topic nevertheless.

I have to join in with the Bill Hicks thing. An amazing comedian. Ironic that alarge amount of his material was about smoking and then dying from lung cancer! Others: David Beckam - To see if someone that talented can actually be that stoopid The Queen - Just because I wanna Jordan - Then I could kill her without being a suspect Layne Staley (Alice in Chains singer) - Cos hes dead.

Think Bill Hicks died of Pancreatic Cancer or something, not lung cancer. Funnily, whenever he tripped on acid in his younger days he could feel something wrong with his intestines on the left side - and that is where they found the cancer in his later years. Any fan should read his biography American Scream *tries to remeber if that's the right name* it's fantastic.

I have it on good authority that Ant is always the one on the left of the TV screen. This comes from an avid Byker Grove fan who is also the proud owner of the 'Lets Get Ready To Rumble' single!!

Err...I thought this thread is about persons, that are famous (or the children/friends of famous people) and that we know!?
I know the great grandchild (female, 27 years old) of the famous director Carl Froelich, wo also shot films for the nazis. She's one of the nicest persons, I know. Edited by: Hendrik |

Micheal Stipe - Because everyone who knows him seems to need him to talk to forever, i'd like to know someone who's that good at listening
Jonny Greenwood - I dont think there's any living person who has more talent then jonny greenwood. Nick Drake - it would be nice to meet someone as poetic as he was. Glen Hansard - Since he's just such a bloody nice chap, he's the perfect person to go for a pint with... i dont drink though, but i have met him and he's a lovely chap. Jeff Buckley - Anyone who knows his music or anything about him and has not felt inspired to do something better with themselves is mad... i think knowing him would make me ten times more sincere then i am now, he did some amazing things for the world of music... he was just an honestly great human being.
