Hello everyone. I've been a regular in the igloo for a long time...just a silent observer though. I know it would be pointless to say I'm the biggest damien fan ever but for what it's worth he's something else to me and he changed my life...you know those kind of people that come along and just materialize all the thoughts and feelings and words you couldn't...they just get it the way you do. That's what damien is to me. I've seen him live four times now, and those were the four best days of my life. So I guess that's my hello then.

Every song damien plays is an experience...seriously i'm not just being cheesy. One of the best things that i remember so clearly was the first time i ever saw him play last october at the great american music hall in san francisco...just those first few notes of delicate...indescribable. I think i read a post where someone described the magic of those notes as somehow having so much space between them. My feelings exactly. Also at the end when they did the encore, damien called the members of his opening act Pedestrian to come back out and Damien said that they were going to try something a little experimental...everyone was going to play an instrument that they didn't actually play, and tomo sang...he needed a copy of the words though. It was cheers darlin, they all switched instruments, and drank glasses of wine from a bottle that was brought onstage at damiens request...it was the best.
