I just wanted to say hello. I've listened to Damien Rice for a few years but never noticed this site until a couple days ago. I was very pleased to find it. All kinds of great info and interesting posts. I hope to be conversing with some of you nice people very soon.

It's been very warm and sunny here - in the 80s and 90s. But today it looks rainy. And it's my day off

I'm an Eskimo Baby also...
I've been crazy about Damo and the gang for 2 and a half years now. Living in Brazil, it is so incredibly hard to find anything about him, 'cause almost no-one knows him here - I had to order O and B-Sides from Amazon. However, I spent the last July in the UK, which gave me the chance to buy everything I could find on Damien, but I didn't get to see him perform... On January I'll be on Germany, so (wishful thinking  ) I truly hope he plays somewhere (I'd go ANYwhere, actually, to see his gig) when I'm there!And I have also only recently found out about EF, so you can imagine how thrilled I'm about it, and truly ecstatic to see so many fans of the good old god of music Damo talking and getting to know each other and getting along - that's great. I'm already a fan of you guys!  Hopefully I'll be able to hear a lot from the band from you guys (since it's so hard to find out anything about them here...) Cheers and thanx |
