Rite i know we have had many talks about this now but i want us to put our brains together and really figure this out. I am not to up on the tech of all this so sum of my questions are....


If the rat or the loopin system dont have a mic input at the bak how do u patch them in ?


Is it poss to patch two things into the loopin system or do i need 2 line changes ?


can i have 3 or4 diff distortion pedals, wah and mic's goin through a pa system ?


how dus a loopin system work ? can u press a butten wen to record and then when to stop and play it like damein dus ?


would this boss one do the job for the looping ?

an XLR cable and a TRS cable don't work on the same impedence... they need to be converted from lo-z to hi-z like this:

depends on the looping system... with damien's Line6 DL4 pedal you have two TRS inputs (1/4")... to get a mic in there you need the above converter... a cable that goes from XLR to 1/4" will not do the trick because the signal is never properly converted

you can have as many pedals as you want set up because they all daisy-chain to each other, meaning that one plugs into the other, plugs into the other, etc... and you can plug in as many cables as you have inputs (both lo-z and hi-z and even those can be paralled)

would this boss one do the job for the looping ?

yes this is a looper... i don't like the rc-20 though because there is no decay to each level of the loop... for example your first loop will be as loud as every loop thereafter you patch in... pretty soon the sound will be complete mumbo jumbo
