Introducing yourself is the first step to admitting an Igloo problem!
Hi All!
My name is Dave and I'm an Iglooholic! (Everyone: Hi Dave!) Sometimes known as daveydave around here and in the taping world. I hail from parts unknown! Ok I don't but... I hail from Boston, Massachusetts which is sometimes a pretty great place when our local government is not robbing us blind! It's been less than a year that I've been lurking and posting. I never thought I'd say this, but I find it hard to take myself away from the Igloo. The Igloo is a lot like the local Pub that you fall in love with. Actually, it's like drinking with Ted Kennedy while knowing that he's picking up the tab! When I'm not attending Damien gigs or chatting with all the Eski Babes all day, (Note: please don't get jealous because I chat all day long with the Eski Babes!), I'm usually correcting the worlds completed Sudoku puzzles. If you stare at the Igloo long enough, you might see a 4th set of Eskimo eyes. Those are mine. I'm sure those of you who have powers in the 4th dimension can see me in there! Just wanted to say hello to everyone that I don't know and many thanks to those that have been supportive of me when I leave the door to the Igloo wide open. I swear it's not really on purpose ;-) But seriously, you guys are all welcome to my birthday / pool party so long as you bring a gift. Bathing suits are mandatory for men, optional for women. I'm still working out the details with the average temperature being about 30 degrees in February, but that's just a minor issue, so don't get too hung up on it. Well, thanks for making the last year interesting and I guess I'll stay a while! Igloo = LIFE in Eskimo speak...did you know that? dave daveydave Last edited by daveydave; 07-06-2007 at 03:34 AM. welcome dave!! (i know i already know you but i wanted to say hi) it's been a pleasure chatting to you and getting to know you, you are a true gentleman and a patient instructor in the audio arts thanks for sharing the boston gigs with us, beautiful work on those
and hey good luck with that igloo addiction, it's all fun and games in the beginning but it's insidious and will rob you of your soul and your sanity eventually.. (j/k of course) |
