Stairway to heaven? Red red wine?? Are these first-timers?? I don't think I've ever listen to Damo cover those songs before...?
And great that he's still playing brand new songs! |

Just a few seconds of each. Basically a tease of the main lines for the songs.

The Stairway to Heaven bit was tiny! Just a line! Same with Red, Red Wine. It was a blink and you miss it moment. Just as an intro.
The "new song" was just as an outro. So both were tiny snippets. But it was a lovely gig, and he just seemed to be really enjoying himself in the process. Which was nice to see. |

He was so relaxed and talkative - it seemed he did an introduction for 1/3 to 1/2 of the songs - and remarked more than once how he should just quit talking b/c we were there to hear music. What a fantastic show!!

Here's a link to photos of the show.
http://aestheticmagazinetoronto.com/...-rice-toronto/ In the black and white pic where Damien is hunched over, that was during the outro to Delicate where he stepped away from the mike, crouched over and sang into the mike in his guitar. |

^He did look happy! It was nice to see. And I'm really glad our crowd was pretty good - no insanely distracting bathroom breaks in the middle of the songs (like in NYC), and definitely quite a few moments where the room was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop. It was lovely!
