Hey all.

For any of you who live in the UK or for any of you how can get ITV1 you should watch GMTV on ITV1 between 7.30 and 8.30 on a week morning if you all have nothing better to do at that time in the morning.

There is an advertisement comes on between the times of 7.30 and 8.30 for "O".

It's basically Damo and Lisa playing a snipet of Volcano and reviews of "O" coming up the screen.

It's cool, but, it's kinda short.

I noticed it this morning and was kinda suprised.

Damo advertising-never though i'd see it. i always say its great that he's done so much without advertising. like doing more in America in a year than ronan keating has done in his whole career and putting major bucks into it. i think his lack of ads is a tremendous success. i though the world had succumbed to the advertisers and everybody needed it to get by-but not damo.strange that early morning one

I was watching BBC2 last night and an add for Virgin Megastore came on, you know the ones that say getblah blahdvd for just £15, get blah blah video for £10, and then it said get Damien Rice's O for £8.99 - never thought I'd see the day where Damien would be on one of those kind of adds. It's normally some sh*tty Westlife or Britney cd that they advertise!

Are you sure you were watching BBC2...?

The BBC don't do commercial advertisements, they just do advertisements for their own shows.

I saw one in the states, a 30 second spot with Damien and Lisa doingVolcano and Cannonball -- in B&W, split screen fashion. I agree, the announcer did sound sort of... "NOW! 294"-ish. "BUY DAMIEN RICE'S DEBUT, O -- AT TOWER RECORDS TODAY!" Talk about subliminal messaging.

Good point, it must have been UTV so, though I was watching something on BBC2 at the time, I must have been channel hopping
