for those that haven't gotten it from me yet...here's a bit torrent download. if you don't know about bit torrent, shn, etc read up first before trying this. http://www.amidreaming.org/dreamers/...threadid=24070 ^download there Damien Rice May 30, 2003 El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles, CA Taper: Jon Koch (jon@mrazmerized.com) Source: AT831 > SP-SPSB-1S batt. box (w/ bass rolloff set @ 107 Hz) > (line-in) Sharp MD-MT15 Transfer: Sharp MD-MT15 >SB Live! Soundcard (line in) > Soundforge 6.0 > wav Edit: wav > Soundforge 6.0 > wav > CD Wave > wav ---PRESERVE THE QUALITY DO NOT ENCODE INTO MP3--- Disc 1: 01: The Professor [6:49] 02: Volcano [6:46] 03: Blower's Daughter (False Start) [2:34] 04: Cannonball [4:28] 05: Woman Like a Man [7:59] 06: Cold Water-> [6:49] 07: Hallelujah* [4:05] 08: Me, My Yolk and I [7:51] 09: Delicate [6:44] 10: Happy Birthday [2:31] 11: Amie [7:52] 12: Blower's Daughter [7:24] Disc 2: 01: Encore Break [1:03] 02: Encore Intro/Plug for album [2:54] 03: Then Go [6:57] 04: Cheers Darlin' [9:50] 05: "I Remember"-versions that never were [4:00] 06: I Remember [8:15] *Jeff Buclkey cover Damien Rice Full Band is: Damien Rice - guitar & vocals Lisa Hannigan - vocals Vyvienne Long - cello Shane Fitzsimons - bass guitar Tomo - drums, percussion Notes: Damien came out solo unplugged and without a mic for the first 3/4 of "The Professor" to start the gig. This is very evident in the recording but I tried to compensate for it a little bit. Also, volume levels were the most extreme (both quiet and loud) I have ever dealt with so I had to do a lot of adjusting in Soundforge. If the volume seems a bit off at times (mostly during crowd noise), sorry about that. Lastly, the PA had minor issues so brief amounts of static (briefly in "Volcano") are a result of that. To find out more about Damien Rice please visit color=#ffffff www.damienrice.com and pick up a copy of the new album "O" in stores now <IMG alt="" src= "http://www.amidreaming.org/dreamers/images/smilies/smile.gif"> Never pay for or sell live recordings. Thanks for the link emmettu2 it worked like a dream and thanks AllThatLies for the original files. I'm only new to the forum despite loving Damien's music for the last year. I do have a copy of Damien performing The Blowers Daughter on Later with Jools Holland earlier in the year, if anyones interested. |

Well after 13+ hours of downloading (the most exciting moment of the day being when the dizzying heights of 21kb/s were briefly reached before plummeting back to the normal 9kb/s) I can safely say it was well worth waiting for! Thanks for posting it on the board AllThatLies

Is there any way you can just download this in mp3 somewhere? It would be a hell of a lot easier!

Live shows + MP3s = bad. People who have recorded a show generally ask for it not to be made into mp3s, as that show (in its new mp3 form) might not be labled as having being sourced from mp3s and will spread if it's copied for someone else. It's only really possible to spread a bootleg properly if it has has full CD quality. I'm not really making sense there, but trust me on the bad thing |
