Default still haven't found what i'm looking for

I was listening through my damien collection and a song called "still haven't found what i'm looking for" which i had had for ages but never really given a proper listen to but at the end he burts into "can't take my eyes of of you" from blowers daughter and instead of ending with "till i find something new" he ended with "untill i cut them out"

Does he change that last line a lot in live preformances or was that just a special, crude, horrifying special for that outburst?

Still haven't managed to see him. Hoping for a scottish tour with the new album

Sounds to me like

"till I get a knife and cut it out"

doesn't make much sense, but that's what it sounds like.

it was just an improvisation at the end of a piece of music that went on for ages... the U2 song was added on to another song... the blower's daughter maybe... it was a pretty intense show with a lot of improvising

Threats of physical violence should be taken very seriously - I've a good mind to call my local police station.

Thinking about it Damien has also admitting to vandalising other people's property in Cross-eyed Bear :

"I broke your doll, it was cross-eyed that's all"

Lisa goes on to boast that she scratched someone's car. Whilst it would be hard to prove that either of them did this deliberately, I think they should both take more care of others' belongings.

I am not the one to say for sure but I can think of at least 2 or 3 different times where he added different endings he has added on that last line in the blower's daughter.

I have that song. I was a little erked by the last line but the overall beauty of the song overcame it I think.

Oh yeah it's beautiful. I think the last line is scary but i don't think it's a bad thing.

Can anyone tell me if Damien has covered any other U2 material????

I love what he did to "I still haven't found.... " dare I say its even better than U2 live themselves.

no, but he does cover a Prince song on a live recording of his song "face." he breaks into it in the middle of the song then goes back to his song after a bit of fun lol

When doves cry is a Prince song too isn't it? As much as I love the original, I think damo's is better.

hey thanks for reminding me about this track......I actually thought I had imagined hearing this.

The first time I ever heard Damien on the radio (JJJ here in Aus) it was that song - I was so taken back by him singing Prince that I never got my act together to tape the moment.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy? From memory, to me it sounded like a studio not a live recording.
