Yeah, You just have to go in and say it to them. They'll put your name down in the book. if you don't live in Dublin just email them on your details or something. I doubt there'd be any problem.

Woot originated as a hacker term for root (or administrative) access to a computer. However, with the term as coincides with the gamer term, "w00t".

"w00t" was originally an trunicated expression common among players of Dungeons and Dragons tabletop role-playing game for "Wow, loot!" Thus the term passed into the net-culture where it thrived in video game communities and lost its original meaning and is used simply as a term of excitement.

"I defeated the dark sorcerer! Woot!"

"woot! i r teh flagmastar!" (Think Tribes)

"Woot, I pwnzed this dude's boxen!'

Wow, thirty years later and Dungeons and Dragons is becoming cool. How odd.

it's also used in RPG meaning we own other team or something....I don't know...I used it before I knew what it stood for. I say woot when something cool happens i.e. the release of the new Damien Rice album

I'd bet that 9.5/10 people that use "woot" do not know that it came from DnD. I sure didnt! I bolded the most important part of my previous post by the way

I figure that geeks are taking over without people even knowing. First the destruction of language, then telescreens in every home telling you when to exercise and whatnot.

Sorry for my iggnorance, can someone here tell me when exactly it's shipping from Road Recs. I was thinking about ordering through them although I live in Orlando, Florida, USA. How long do you think it will take to arrive?

It'll probably be shipped a couple of days beforehte release and will take at least a week to get there.
