US Release Date

So I just learned that the US release date for the album is November 14th.

If you want to get it earlier, there's a link on the news page to an Irish store that will ship it to you on the 2nd.

Keep an eye on the news page for all the latest news.

Mighty expensive though (the pre-order)... but then again, it is Damien, so we're pretty much guaranteed it'll be worth it.

I ordered it off Amazon.co.uk for a total of about $25 (USD), but it's arriving here in NY between the 13th and the 15th. I'd probably wind up paying at least $15 dollars more ordering it from Road Records, but I'd get it sooner. I assume this is the best way, right? After all, people will surely upload it online once it comes out in Ireland so I'll be able to hear it on my computer until I get the CD.

I'm not bothering with the American version becuase I'd wind up getting it even later than the one I already bought.

Also, is this album cover?

I'm belgian and i see road records says it might take 7 to 14 days!!?

haven't heard an official date for europe yet... UK is november 6th, so hopefully around then too...

Just found a belgian release date site that clames 6th nov. too, altough not sure where they got their info from. I'll just wait then instead of ordering.

I hear you, the price is pretty steep when you consider the shipping charges. Especially since CD's in Canada are rarely more than 20 Canadian dollars, which is about 14 euros.

This is great news. I'll skip the pre-order as well, unless the official website has some major deal with a pre-order. Otherwise I have a Virgin Megastore right down the street and another independent retailer on the other side of town that both have midnight sales on for new albums. I'll have mine right at the stroke of twelve!

I've had an album sent from road recs to denmark and it only took like 4-5 days (not counting sundays)

well i know we are all talking about the relaease dates for the US, The UK, Ireland, Europe etc etc etc, but what about poor ****ty Australia? whens it coming here? haha we are our own continent and must we pay for that everytime? i suppose we deserve it, haha, does any one have any information about this?

Australia usually happens much later, or so says conventional wisdom. Just put in an order with Road... At least then you won't be stuck with a cardboard album cover. Also you'll be all hip and with it because no-one else will have a copy.

Heh, if it's any comfort to you it goes the other way too - my boyfriend had to order a ben lee EP from Australia, since it was not released anywhere near here (Europe) and it cost a fortune.

I think I'm gonna wait til the US release... Here in the States CDs are soooooooo cheap compared to Europe. In my local record store new CDs are usually on sale for around 12 dollars, sometimes even 9.99 dollars which is like 7-8 euros!!!!!!!!!! So I think that it's better to wait a few days and you can save a lot!!Besides, if you buy in the US you'll contribute to 9 entering higher in the US Charts which is always nice
