Hey everyone,
I don't know if this has been announced on here yet, but I just wanted to let you all know that I saw that Damien Rice is going to be performing at Coachella!

I wish I had more information to give everyone, but here's some websites with other information if you want to check it out.

So he is coming back to the states like he said in April. Hopefully he takes all that time in between UK tours to stay over here and do some shows. Great lineup by the way. See The Frames made it in there. And is that right? Are my eyes deceiving me? A Rage reunion? Will this be the first time they are an stage together? Excellent weekend.....

Wow!!!!! Just checked the line-up and it's amazing!!!! DJ Tiesto is also playing = best DJ in the world ever!!!!! Saw him once in Amsterdam in a 8 hour gig and was mind-blowing!!!!!! There's also Bjork, Placebo, Arctic Monkeys, Travis, Air, Faithless, Decemberists... You can check the detailed line up (by day) here:

Crowded House is on that list. Oh my! Here Rage is getting all the pub along with The Police and here I see that the 80's rockers Crowded House are playing. How great is that!?

yup. sunday for damien. my problem is this. there are at least five acts every day that i have to see, so i will be there all three days. just can't bare to miss anything

whoever asked about april tour. i assume if hes going to be in CA at the end of april for coachella he will definitely be doing at least some shows out here in april. also he left that huge gap between the end of his current tour and the UK one. YAY! i can't wait for april!

heard this on the radio driving my son to school this morning, not about damien but RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE! i literally hit the brakes and we both looked at each other in shock haha.. then he asked me where coachella is and i said california. his smile disappeared, might as well say it's on the moon from here.. ah well. what a line up! this is a fantastic festival for reunions, the stooges reunited there in 2003 and they've been touring together ever since. maybe rage will too, though chris cornell has been doing solo stuff lately..

haha yeah, i totally logged on so i could start this thread too... oh well.

ahhh there are so many good bands, and they all seem to be spread out inconveniently over the three days. Day 2 looks most promising overall; then again, day 3 has damien, rage, air, the roots, placebo, the kooks, amos lee, and lupe fiasco! I don't know what to do, but nevertheless, this is incredibly exciting news.

yeah i was hoping i could just go one or two days but with that lineup i just have to suck it up and go all three. i can't miss any of it

I'm kind of bummed that I can't make it this year, but then I remember that Indio is in the middle of the desert, and it gets really hot, really crowded, parking is a pain and it's expensive. So I'm a little consoled.

ive never done this with a festival abroad but im actually considering my options here. that line up is far too good. if i had to make a dream line up most of the acts mentioned would be in it.

Tickets are sold via TICKETMASTER.

Tickets for the festival will go on sale Saturday, January 27 at 10:00 AM (PT) for the general public but there is an internet-only pre-sale on Thu, Jan 25 at 10:00 AM
