well choosing manc uni was a master stroke on my part. 2 damo gigs in 6months! get in. i guess the feb ones will be a bitch to get though.

wouldnt it be really cool if he did a gig just for us? a specialised gig just for eskimo friends. you'd have 50 people joining every 10 mins then!!

yea that would be cool,i am not dissing damo here,i think he's great,but does nobody else think that its a bit sh*t that he will most likely only be playin 1 gig here in ireland?the thing is gonna sell out like a flash which means a load of fans wont be able to go,come on damo!dont forget where u have come form!give us a week in the olympia or something! please!

In fairness he probably had December down as his break after a hectic year... and maybe read on the boards (here??) that we wanted an Irish gig and so is doing one...

I think he also saw the hair poll, as I hear the Moheekan is no more...

...He still has a bit of a mohican, not as noticeable though! I met him Saturday afternoon..and Vyvienne and Shane! From the horses mouth, he's playing 1 gig in Dublin and thats gonna be in Vicar St. He said early next year for any other Irish shows...and the gig was unbelievable!

No, sorry, I never asked about a date...He just said December...It was funny actually. I was just walking home from the supermarket and I said I'd stop by the Paradise to see what time the doors were open and Damo was standing outside with a tiny bicycle talking to an English lady with black hair...I'm not sure who she is. We chatted away for a while and I asked could I get a photo and it was great cos Vyvienne and Shane just happened to pass by at that time too!

really don't think DR should do the Point, he'll have sold out, pandering to the masses, walking a meandering tightrope to a maelstrom of indecision!! Stick to Vicar Street and the Olympia, with a night or two in Galway, Kilkenny and Cork. The NCH with a full orchestra would be amazing.

I think we all fear Damien will do an OCS and we'll hear people in 3door Honda Civics with Cannonball blaring out the tinted windows . . please no . .

wats an ocs? i dont think they have played in too big venues,they always play the olympia and they did on monday,i was there,and amazing it surely was!

Wow, Ang, you know I had forgotten about them...thanks for reminding me!!...what happened was: I only had one of those cheap didsposables and got that developed, then decided it'd be a good idea to get a picture CD after to share some photos...and I forgot to pick that up!! Be warned that the quality isn't great..Very dark...but the one I got of me, my friend, Damo, Shane and Vyvienne came out good!
