'fool' question

This being one of my favorites... I recently came across from someones folder some different versions of the 'fool' that i have had for some time (thank you by the way!)... the "new" ones are from joe's pub in 03 I believe and another one.

Now I notice the lyrics are very different...does anyone know which one is the most recently used or the newest revised one.. if that is the right way to phrase it?

If you're talking about the "If you leave me now..." verse, that's always been there. It just so happens that the original mp3 that was circulating didn't have it.

Yep, all the lyrics are the same... The problem was the old mp3 floating around that was incomplete, it was just the 2nd half of the song... Even the recent versions from France 07 have the same lyrics

has he been playing it after the shows in france? do you guys think he'll play it in the states. maybe we should have a fool appreciation thread

Nope, looks like it's a French exclusive

I was 100% sure he was gonna play it in Brussels, since Jacques Brel is Belge, but he didn't...

Ohhhh but at the London show he played the last bit at the end of Cheers darlin...

I really hope he plays it in the US tour. it's prob the song I wanna hear the most!!!!!!!!!!

I would have to agree as well that is my most anticipated possible song on the tour... and for some reason I want to hear MMY&I... I think a thread is in need for appreciation of fool though
