hiya everyone, Just wondering what everyone's fav Damien gig was. I can't tell you mine cause they all just merge into one big blur at this stage...maybe it was Whelan's afternoon gig ages ago. I dunno!- but what would you pick? <img border="0" src= "smileys/smiley12.gif"> |

the stables every time seen him there 3 times and because it's such a tiny venuehe tended towards playing his less well known stuff which was nice for a change. he's probably too big to play there anymore too, so i guess i'll always remember those, like the GAA leixlip show and other small gigs he did, askinda special. |

The best rice gig i've been at so far was at the jean monnet lecture hall in UL back in october. Only damien and lisa were there but they played a brilliant gig. They played load of unrealesed songsthat night and they finished with face which is an unbelievable song live

my favourite was a gig damien played in the sirius arts centre in cobh in 2001. there wasn't very many people there, and it was totally acoustic, in a beautiful room overlooking the ocean. but the opera house gig in cork was my favourite big damien gig, it was amazing.

The freebie he played in Music City in Rathmines is the highlight for me as he drew a picture of me which is now framed!

best: olympia late last year worst: the gig he did at my college (dliadt), granted it was only 3 europes in, but the sound was sh*te, he didn't turn up for soundcheck. |
