Default Hi from Southern Germany

Hey folks,

I`m a nineteen year old student from Germany. (so please excuse my English- I`m trying my best)
I`m fascinated by Damien`s music..it`s just so honest and moving..it`s fantastic
I`ve heard "blower`s daughter" for the first time when a friend of mine came along to my place and we were listening to the song about twenty timesor even more..the whole evenng.
I don`t have that feeling very often. Mostly it`s like that: I listen to music and I need some time to find an access to it (I don`t know if one can say it like that in English). I mean I need some time to like it. I can only rememeber that sudden understanding and attraction of music when I listened to Nirvana`s unplugged album for the first time...
Don`t want to bore you...
Whatelse to say bout me?
I love travelling, I like chilling, I play the guitar myself (not too successful), I like hanging around with friends..and of course I`m looking forward to Damien Rice`s Europe Tour!

Would be happy to read from you!

@astornella: ciao! thanks for your welcome, too

thanks Wheels and special thanks to you, Colbarr.

selamat datang ke igloo walau apa jua bahasa yang anda tuturkan!

that`s indonesian, isn`t it? I think I have heard "selamat datang" in my last summer holiday in Bali several times.

I`m always to happy to read new words I`ve learned. Just as your location (A cosy little house in Dublin)..I like taht word "cosy". It`s been the name of my cuddly pet I used to have when I was a child...

I don`t mind (if you don`t want to know my whole adress and the position of the bathroom in my family`s house ) I`m living in Bavaria, Lower Franconia, a small village near Wuerzburg.
Why`d you wanna know. You know some places in Germany?
What is the smiley under your post about? I don`t get it.

edit: hola verenita! I have special relations to Argentina. I haven`t been there yet but my brother`s girlfriend is originally from Buenos Aires. D`you know Gotan Project? I like it.

Well I've been to southern Germany this summer so I just wanted to know, there's no real reason actually (sorry...)
As for the smyley thing, here's what I've just written on my welcoming thread...

what's with the boxing? well, it's the smiley which is nearest to the sport I practise and that is becoming the meaning of my life, that is kickboxing

Clear enough, I hope...(my english sucks I know...)

alright I got it...you`re a kickboxer, cool.

where have you been to in Germany and did you enjoy it?
The city you come from reminds me of something...
is there a great roman writer or poet born in como?
I hope it is a city...

edit:ah okay...: it`s Pliny. I learned that in school.

Well, I'm a learning kickboxer...
I've been only to a few places in the black forest, then visited a little of Freiburg. I did like it, it's been an interesting experience, the place was quiet and it rained a lot, which is a good thing
