i'd say the easiest damo song to play is... cold water. lonely soldier is quite easy too tho.

lynchpin by mundy is easy too.

Cold Water although the sliding chorus and hammer-ons could be a bugger.

Delicate may be only a few chords but for a novice the strumming and hammer-ons may be quite tricky.

And the blower's daughter played the right way may also prove difficult for a player 10 lessons in.

Donsie didn't ask which song you find easy to play, they asked which song is the easiest to play for someone after ten lessons.

Volcano is actually one of the easiest for a newbie, normal tuning I.E. no capo anywhere so the chord positions should be familiar and it's a standard Aminor, G, F progression or you can play the open power chords if you prefer.

Well I've only had six lessons so...

Cold Water can be played without hammer ons and sliding chords.

The only strumming you need for a basicDelicate is three of the strings and it's the same pattern over and over. My teacher's made all the songs fairly easy for me till I get better.

Tabs are eeeeee-zeeee to understand! Put the guitar flat on ur lap. The six lines on a tab stave relate to the six strings if the guitar. The numbers on the lines are what fret to play the note.

ive been teachin myself with nobody helping me for about 9months.

cold water is prob the easiest, even the hammer on are fairly basic,

i dont know where yer off to with delicate, its simple to strum but the
hammer ons a quiet tricky, it took me about a week to get it exact,

cheers darlin is probably one of the easiest, older chests is fairly simple, but when singing it you might get confused,

can you believe i still cant get i remeber right, its impossible when
singing, the first part is simple but wtf do u do when you get to
lisa[chorus]? it doesnt go with the guitar its a few seconds off and it
wrecks my head, baby sister is simple,

i think cannonball is a simple song without the hammer ons, is very tricky to get it like damien, but ive got it near exact..

i think volcano is hard to get right, the way he moves his pinky down after every second note, very tricky all together,

only after nearly a year im thinkin of getting a good guitar as im
fairly ok at this stage, when you know how to play the guitar like a
singer songwriter does , youll be able to play any of damiens songs and
every1 elses, theres a certain technique that everysingersongwriter
does, 99percent of all there songs are in scale g and its the normal
135 formation..

just my 2p

To confuse things further, bare in mind that the songs you are all debating about are probably being played in entirely different ways by some of you.
For instance, if Volcano is played exactly as Damien plays it, I wouldn't count it as a beginner song, but you can simplify the chords to make it quite easy (and most of the tabs for that are going around are simplified).
Also with Baby Sister - I agree it's quite easy, but there's a stretch to the the 3rd string on the lowE that beginners may find difficult.
